Printing 3D models
We at Top3d can help you to 3D printing models that suit your specific needs. Our team has experience in handling different types of materials and techniques to meet your requirements for quality and function. Whether you need prototypes, architectural models or functional components, we can help you through the entire process, from design to finished print.
There are a variety of different types of models that can be created with 3D printing, making the technology versatile and applicable across a variety of industries and applications. Architectural models are a common example, where 3D printing is used to create detailed building structures that provide a realistic representation of construction projects before they begin.
Display models are often used in marketing or for exhibitions, where printed objects can be used to visualize products or concepts in an easily accessible way. Toys are another area where 3D printing can be used to create personalized and unique figures that allow for a creative and customizable production process. In addition, 3D printing is used to create prototype models, which makes it possible to quickly develop and test ideas in physical form before moving on to large-scale production.
How to get the best results with the right process and materials?
To achieve the best possible results with 3D printing, it is important to choose the right process and materials depending on the purpose and requirements of the model. If you need to create a detailed and fine model, such as an architectural model, MJF a good choice due to its precision and smooth surfaces. For functional prototypes or parts that need to withstand load, it is recommended SLS or MJF with materials such as PA12 Nylon.
MJF and SLS are options that create high-quality 3D printed 3D models. MJF provides a smooth surface and high detail thanks to PA12 Nylon Extra Smooth which is suitable for high precision components with good surface finish. SLS, on the other hand, offers cost-effective printing in white with PA12 Nylon, which is suitable for durable and functional parts that need to be white or dyed in bright colors. Both processes offer PA12 which is available in white as standard but SLS PA12 is whiter than that offered with MJF. PA12 has several choices when it comes to color, from blue and red to black and gray. Regardless of the material, the materials can be dyed for specific needs.
