p\u00e5 svenska, erbjuder tillverkning i m\u00e5nga olika metallegeringar och \u00e4r den vanligaste tekniken f\u00f6r additiv tillverkning av metall. Liksom de andra processerna f\u00f6r <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top3d.se\/processer-material\/metall-processer\/\">3D-printing i metall<\/a> s\u00e5 producerar DMLS s\u00e5 n\u00e4r som 100% porfria material med materialegenskaper som oftast \u00e4r b\u00e4ttre \u00e4n gjuten motsvarighet och materialegenskaper som p\u00e5minner om smitt. Processen sintrar och sm\u00e4lter ihop metallpulver med en eller multipla lasrar och anv\u00e4nds i stor skala f\u00f6r tillverkning av komponenter som har h\u00f6ga krav p\u00e5 materialegenskaper men d\u00e4r detaljrikedom och ytfinhet inte \u00e4r det allra h\u00f6gsta kraven. Det ska dock s\u00e4gas att DMLS fortfarande tillverkar med v\u00e4ldigt, v\u00e4ldigt h\u00f6g noggrannhet och precision men vi rekommenderar alltid att l\u00e4gga till mekanisk bearbetning av de ytor som kr\u00e4ver exakt noggrannhet eller f\u00f6r g\u00e4ngade h\u00e5l. F\u00f6r att uppn\u00e5 sl\u00e4ta och blanka ytor rekommenderas att l\u00e4gga till polering eller pl\u00e4tering. b\u00e5da dessa processer under namnet DMLS. Processen \u00e4r som f\u00f6ljer:<\/p><ul><li>Byggkammaren fylls med inert gas (som t.ex. argon) f\u00f6r att minska metallpulveroxidationen. D\u00e4refter v\u00e4rms byggkammaren upp till den idealiska byggtemperaturen.<\/li><li>Byggplattformen t\u00e4cks med ett tunt lager av metallpulver och en h\u00f6geffektlaser skannar och d\u00e4rmed sm\u00e4lter komponentens tv\u00e4rsnitt. Hela modellens yta skannas, vilket s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller att modellen \u00e4r helt och h\u00e5llet tillverkat av fast material.<\/li><li>Efter att skanningsprocessen har slutf\u00f6rts s\u00e4nks byggplattformen med en lagertjocklek och ett nytt tunt lager metallpulver stryks ut och lasern skannar \u00e4ven detta lager p\u00e5 tidigare n\u00e4mnt s\u00e4tt. Denna process upprepas till hela komponenten eller komponenterna \u00e4r f\u00e4rdigbyggda.<\/li><li>N\u00e4r tillverkningen \u00e4r klar \u00e4r komponenterna helt t\u00e4ckta med metallpulver. Till skillnad fr\u00e5n sinterteknik f\u00f6r polymerer (som SLS eller MJF) \u00e4r dessa metalldelarna kopplade till byggplattformen med hj\u00e4lp av st\u00f6dstrukturer. Det \u00e4r alltid n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt att anv\u00e4nda st\u00f6dstrukturer vid anv\u00e4ndning av DMLS f\u00f6r att minska risken f\u00f6r att komponenten sl\u00e5r sig p\u00e5 grund av de h\u00f6ga tillverkningstemperaturerna. St\u00f6dstrukturen \u00e4r gjord av samma material som komponenten.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>\u00d6verskottspulvret tas manuellt ut ur beh\u00e5llaren n\u00e4r det n\u00e5r rumstemperatur. Delarna v\u00e4rmebehandlas ofta medan de fortfarande \u00e4r f\u00e4sta p\u00e5 byggplattformen f\u00f6r att lindra eventuella kvarvarande sp\u00e4nningar. Beroende p\u00e5 detaljens storlek och geometri samt metallpulvrets egenskaper varierar lagerh\u00f6jden som anv\u00e4nds vid 3D-utskrift av metall fr\u00e5n 20 till 50 mikron.<\/p><p>En 3D-printer f\u00f6r DMLS och SLM har en generell utskriftsstorlek p\u00e5 250 x 150 x 150 mm, men st\u00f6rre maskiner finns ocks\u00e5 tillg\u00e4ngliga (upp till 500 x 280 x 360 mm). Den dimensionella noggrannheten som DMLS kan uppn\u00e5 \u00e4r ungef\u00e4r 0,1 mm f\u00f6r formstabila geometrier om delen inte sl\u00e5r sig.<\/p><p>\u00c4ven om SLM- och DMLS-skrivare kan anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r tillverkning av sm\u00e5 partier \u00e4r deras kapacitet mer j\u00e4mf\u00f6rbar med FDM- eller SLA-maskiners \u00e4n SLS-skrivare. Eftersom delarna m\u00e5ste printas fast p\u00e5 byggplattformen \u00e4r de begr\u00e4nsade av XY-utskriftsomr\u00e5det som \u00e4r tillg\u00e4ngligt vilket drar ner deras produktivitet.<\/p><p>SLM och DMLS anv\u00e4nder metallpulver som \u00e4r mycket \u00e5tervinningsbart. Vanligtvis \u00e4r avfallet mindre \u00e4n 5 %.
